Life really happens, doesn't it?

This is my first blog and the start of a new journey! I'm 53. I've had 4 kids. I've been widowed and divorced. I've worked many different jobs in various industries and I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up. Can anyone else relate?

I recently discovered a new term - "multipotentialite". Apparently it's not that new because the video I saw is 5 years old but it is new to me and makes so much sense. According to the puttylike.com website a multipotentialite is someone with many interests and creative pursuits.

There have been many times when I told myself that I'm not creative, that I like logic. Guess what? I do like logic. I think of things logically most of the time. I am also creative! I used to draw. I like to write. I love music and flowers. I bake, cook, crochet, decorate - those are all creative pursuits!

I'm not sure what I hope to accomplish with this blog. Maybe it will just serve as a creative outlet for my not creative and frustrating job I have. More likely, it will be a springboard for new and exciting things to come. The reason I say that with confidence is that I am searching and I am not afraid of new things or change. Everything changes, that's life, isn't it?
